The Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building is located in Jayapura City, Papua Province, West Papua Indonesia. The Papua Youth Creative Hub was built by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, has cost 105 billion rupiah to have various facilities. PYCH is located on Jalan Poros Abepura or about 11 km from the center of Jayapura City, built from 2021 to 2022 on a 1.5 hectare land

Papua Youth Creative Hub has a two-storey main building and two dormitory buildings. The building will be equipped with 100 Mbps internet speed with symmetrical 1:1 upstream downstream bandwidth.

two dormitory buildings consisting of 46 rooms with complete bed facilities, wardrobes, en-suite bathrooms and others. Each room has a capacity of two people, so the dormitory can accommodate up to 96 people. The building is also equipped with a centralized fire alarm system in the control room, connected to all speakers inside and outside the building.

The Papua Youth Creative Hub is decorated with a number of typical Papuan ornaments such as a wooden statue. The building is also equipped with a futsal court with synthetic grass and a basketball court.

Papua Youth Creative Hub has space for MSME products, PYCH cafe, training rooms, meeting rooms, function rooms, rooms that can be used for co-working spaces, up to theater rooms with a capacity of 400 people, religious events and others.

The Papua Youth Creative Hub is equipped with various supporting facilities that are expected to be able to support the activities and interests of young people who want to do business, farming, animal husbandry to content creators and stand up comedy.

The construction of PYCH is a follow-up to the meeting between the President of the Republic of Indonesia Jokowi and Young Papuan Inspiring Leaders at the State Palace in September 2019. Furthermore, the central government supports the development of creativity centers to provide more space for Papuan and West Papuan youth in the development of technology, innovation and local Papuan products.

“There are many excellent talent with excellent talent in Papua Province and West Papua Province both in the fields of science, arts and culture, and in the field of sports, and this is a big task for all of us to prepare good talent management to organize. This is where the role of Papua Youth will be. Creative Hub (PYCH),” said President Jokowi in his remarks during the groundbreaking of PYCH in 2021.
